Pokerroom.com isn’t the first company to offer casino-style games on cellular phone in the United States, but they are the first to offer them for money. Players can bet from 50 cents to $300 per hand, and they’ll be able to play both Texas Hold’em and slots. Players who are disconnected will be allowed to reconnect within 30 seconds. In addition to the US Federal Government's usual qualms regarding online casino gambling, it is also concerned that the new service could encourage underage gambling.
